Ewa Czeremuszkin is a multidisciplinary artist with a primary focus on painting. She also explores such mediums as photography, fashion design and graphic design. Czeremuszkin is a Polish-born artist, living and working in Chicago.

Ewa Czeremuszkin was born in Poland in 1974 and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Poland (1995-2000).

Czeremuszkin’s work has been exhibited at:  “Paintings: Body, Object, Texture”, E|C Gallery, Chicago; “Creative Visions” Polish Center of Wisconsin Gallery – Franklin and The Second International Art Forum Adi Art – Lodz, Poland.

Her new body of abstract work focuses on the materiality and process of painting. She is interested in using paintings most fundamental and established vocabularies such as pours, drips, stains and brushstrokes as a means of exploring the contradictions, ambiguities and visual qualities of abstraction.
An aspect of her art, which the physical subject is purely emotional or intellectual. In short, she express a feeling solely by means of form, line or color and without reference to subject-matter. She eliminate traditional subject matter, depth and perspective, but not emotion.

Her work is included in the numerous private collections in Sweden, Germany, Poland and United States.
Most recently, Czeremuszkin has exhibited her paintings and photography at E|C Gallery, Chicago, November, 2009.
Ewa Czeremuszkin lives and works in Chicago, as well as in Warsaw, Poland.
